Yes this site is only for download but you do get a poster of Sonika if you buy the download here. The distributor in the US may not have the new box art yet. If you would like us to sell you a copy of the actual physical product and DVD with the new artwork please email us at sonika@sonika-vocaloid.com and we will arrange this for you.

Can somebody can tell me how much space it takes in a portable computer ? I would like to buy it for my children but I need to know the space it’s gonne take in the hard disk.

Can the vocaloid program, particularly Sonika, be opened and worked with if it were on a UBS? As in saving the download to a portable drive or a copied to a writable disk?
I don’t have the most updated computer, and I wanted to know, for the sake of having space on my hard disk.
oyi, I spelled the flash drive wrong ^_^;; I meant USB drive. But I guess I can use this to make an extended question.
What happens if the download corrupts or something happens to a computer. Does one have to purchase the vocaloid program again?

Sonika takes around about 1Gb of disk space though we recommend having at least 2Gb in order to install it.

Vocaloid System requirements are:
# Pentium4 2GHz / Athlon XP 2000+
# WINDOWS XP / VISTA
# 512MB RAM (1GB of RAM recommended, 2 GB+ if using VSTi realtime)
# Approx 4 GB free HD space on system drive / DVD drive
You need 4Gb of free space on your system drive to install Sonika (as it puts temporary installer files on this disc) but you could then install the actual Sonika program on a USB drive.
